Dear fellow little 龟龟们，
our 龟头老大 has officially fallen sick, thus declare the founding of new mutated virus named, "龟流感".

"龟流感" a new found mutated virus that is 100 times strornger than SARS, Swine Flu, Bird Flu or whatever Snail-Snail Flu.
Tedious laboratory studies are still undergoing at the Singapore National Allied Insitude of Lame-research center, SNAIL in short; yet so no new developments are being found up to this point.

A word of warning to the residents of 龟国,
wash yours hands frequently with soap, prevent getting into crowded places that will increase the chance of spread, get more vitamins, exercise regularly;

finally and MOST IMPORTANTLY,
drink more GREEN TEA!!!

Hi Everyone, this is XX.

For everyones info, I am Yasmin's Twin sister... I noe no one had seen/heard of me before but is ok as I do not appear tt often as well....

Apparently as you all should know, Yasmin is too busy wif her daily work and life, therefore being the more "Eng" twin sister, I hereby being tasked/asked/command/watever you all can tink of by her to blog on her behalf....

Firstly, Yasmin claimed that she enjoy herself alot during the chalet... Juz slacking ard and playing Mahjong for 2 days.... No work, No problems, No troubles... Eat and slp lik nobody business (Quite Obvious from her size thou dun U tink??) and being ard wif frenz... She feels that when there is frenz, there will be fun... Even during the time when she dun feel lik talking (I wonder when will tt be??) She dun mind juz watching ppl talk....

Secondly, She wanna thank everyone who prepare/provide/feed/gave her her 4 meal (Thur dinner, Fri breakfast, lunch and dinner) thus not letting her die of hunger and cooking home cook food for her as she had not touch home cook food for almost a yr *Due to lots of reason*.... ( I noe she complain alot saying she will call delivery/ save trouble/ etc etc... But secretly tell everyone tat actually she is very greatful abt it juz tt she is lazy to prepare, cook and wash thus complaining so much and giving so many comments... ^Slap her Right??^ )

Thirdly, she wanna thank 龟龟 for keeping the toilet clean as promise so that she can bath happily/peacefully/without worries for the 2 nights although she still claimed that she is uncomfortable as our hse toilet is still the best but she is in a chalet.. Wat can she expect?? The standard is consider the best for chalet le and she is glad abt it.... She sincerely thank 龟龟 to the max.....

Lastly, (This is an input by XX Myself... Not instructed by tt Kuku Yasmin de...) Secretly tell U all tat She is actually very thankful, greatful, appreciate-ful that you all still want/choose/insist to be her frenz after knowing that she is such a "Bitch".. (Always Bitching ard as U all can see)... Therefore she is actually really really very very greatful/happy/thankful abt it...

Next would be Snail.. Snail recently also emo over work ba, just my guess since she always refuse to talk to me even though i so nice update her once in a blue moon. Stupid Snail can be nicer to your owner anot?

Meau Meau still busying working and part-time studying, hard on her. Jiayou! From her latest update on Facebook she must be enjoying la.

Then Ada, pretty much busy with work too i guess. So kelian that last Sunday almost need to go back and work.

Wolfie also not much updates from him, must be busy with NS.

Okay maybe reaction abit kua zhang but.. moving on next is our Red Nose Queen, minyi. Some people piss her off ba. Lets just hope red nose have yet got her gun =/

In case no people blog about our turtle de BIG day~ I SHALL UPDATE FIRST :D (more of photos update la..too lazy to type le)

original plan is 730pm reach then hopefully 8pm will start eating then 9pm finish dinner..then those who wan after dinner prog will go to drink..

then in the end..all except meau and gtpp..reach before 7..then we walk to find the place..then we wait until 815++ then order food..cause someone -nv say anyone (look away)- is very late..and then we eat until 1010pm like that then leave the place..

不負众人所望... I am here to blog on the BBQ ytd (14/12/08).... Haha....

Planned to have our BBQ at East coast... But due to the rain... We have it at Clementi instead.. Lol....

How we manage to get the pit so last min is juz bcuz some ppl hav thick skin and is willing to go frm hse to hse and knock on ppl's door... Lol...

Anway.... The preparation part was really tough... Thanks everyone for their effort..

Thanks Mama, Ade, Green Tea papa and Kelvin's Fried Chicken for making tis BBQ such a successful one.. Frm the booking of the Pit to the sponsorship and then the buying of food to all the preparation work (Basically the Sai Gang)....

Not forgetting Turtle and snail for making the effort to get the gift for everyone in Turtleism and turtle for the tasty BEE HOON!!! Aso... Michael, turtle and snail for coming down early to help up too...

The rest.... Thanks for coming... LOL~~~~~~ At least U guys make the effort to turn up....

We feel that turtle and snail is so GOOD in buying gifts to the extend tat EVERYBODY LOVES their gift so much so if we need to buy gift again nxt yr... Can we 派 both of you again?? LOL~~~~~

Anyway.... BBQ... The food was great... The Sting Ray which taste so nice but so hot until eventually I only eat abit... T.T I wan eat more de... But too hot liao la~~~~~~~ Den we still got mama specially make "Yogurt Chicken Wing"...lol... Beacons + Mushroom... And really alot more food till we cannot finish.... Lots of hotdog, cuttlefish ball, chicken wing, crab stick the chicken wif bell pepper (Which i 4get cal wat liao) etc.... AND YA!!! WE HAV LOG CAKE TIS TIME ROUND TOO!!! LOL~~~~~

Don't 龟头 not good, never share with u all my secret to having such a ~~guai~~ pet Snail.

I hereby present u all with a SNAIL KILLING bible! Not that i am bored and start killing snail for fun okay, snails are meant to be killed because they are well known for being a PEST!

1. Hand Picking
Hand-picking and disposing of slugs and snails (including stomping on, throwing in the street, dropping in a bucket of salt water, etc.)

2. Lures and Traps
Place the pots, boards, cabbage leaves, or rinds in the garden in the evening and check daily. If pests are present throw them out, and put out fresh rinds or leaves. Check traps and destroy pests every morning until numbers drop, then check weekly.

What to do, Snails are dumb :)

3. Beer or Yeast & Honey Mixture
Snails and slugs are attracted to the scent of stale beer or a mixture of yeast and honey. Slugs and snails will get into the mixture and drown.

4. Yeast & Honey Mixture
this mixture. You’d be amazed at how well this works. The snails and slugs will glide right in and drown themselves. We’ve also heard old grape juice works well, but we have never tried that.

5. Dry Dog or Cat Food
Another good food to lure snails and slugs away from your plants is to use dry dog or cat food.

6. Copper Deterrents
Snails and slugs cannot tolerate copper; it gives them a slight electrical shock on contact.

7. Scratchy Things
Scratchy things such as crushed eggshells, sandpaper, cinders, wood ashes, and diatomaceous earth. Another scratchy material they don't like to cross is sandpaper.

8. Natural Predators
Possums, chickens, ducks, turtles, tortoises, rats, some birds, and snakes, will prey on snails and slugs. Most people that have chickens and ducks hardly ever see a slug or a snail.

9. Predatory Snails
A predatory snail called a Decollate snail (Rumina decollata) will feed on young snails and may be worth a try, but they also may nibble on young plants.

Hehe! Snails killing snails, how fun.

10. Organic Baits
Iron phosphate disposes of snails and slugs without mess. You may not see the dead slugs and snails in your garden because they often crawl away to secluded places to die.

11. Chemical Baits
Metaldehyde poison dehydrates the snail or slug rather rapidly if it eats the poison. That is a good thing, but slugs and snails can recover from Metaldehyde poisoning if there is rainfall, or access to wet locations, where they will not fully dehydrate and die.

12. Coffee Grounds
The alleged method of slug control using old coffee grounds, we think, amounts to gardening folklore because we have found it doesn't work very well.

13. Spray With Vinegar and Water
Mix equal parts vinegar and water. We have never tried this, but many people have sworn that spraying this mixture on snails and slugs solves the problem for them.

14. Herbal Repellent
Putting mint or sage in your mulch is reported to do a good job of repelling them. We have never tried this, but many people have sworn by using this mixture to repel slugs and snails.
